Wilmington, DE – October 28, 2021 – Richard Scrivener, representing the Corrado Construction team, accepted the Delaware Contractors Association (DCA) 2021 Construction Excellence Award for our work on the Delaware Logistics Park site. The annual award ceremony was held at the Chase Center at Wilmington’s Riverfront and headlined Philadelphia comedian Joe Conklin.
Delaware Logistics Park is a 134-acre site that is home to three buildings totaling 1.75 million SF. Corrado Construction was responsible for the sitework package, including grading, utilities, curb and paving. By working together as a team, putting in the planning at the beginning and always looking ahead to the future phases, the project ended up being a big success despite facing challenging weather and critical deadlines.
