24th Annual Block Kids Competition

Newark, DE – February 3, 2018 – CCC Accountant Cyndi Mosuly and Marketing Assistant, Maura Marraffini, volunteered to be judges at the 24th Annual NAWIC Block Kids Competition. The children were split up by grade, 1st through 6th, and given about an hour to put something together that was related to construction. They were given a rock, a string, Legos, aluminum foil and a manila folder. As judges, Maura and Cyndi were responsible for interviewing and rating the children’s designs. They saw the children construct cranes, buildings, boats, stadiums, wrecking balls, bridges, barns and many more unique creations. After each child was interviewed and graded, overall competition winners were announced as well as winners for each grade. It was a fun and creative event!
