Stockings for Soldiers 2017

Newark, DE – October 24, 2017 – Corrado Construction Company, in partnership with Delaware Contractors Association, participated in the 14th Annual Stocking for Soldiers to help send some holiday cheer to our troops. CCC collected items for soldiers and their K9 counterparts. Joe Corrado, President of Corrado Construction, matched our employees’ contributions, so we were able to drop off over $1000 of donations to DCA’s office. Last year, over 1000 local volunteers helped mail out 1,200 boxes packed with 9,000 homemade, personalized Christmas Stockings that were filled with over 40,000 pounds of goodies. Stockings for Soldiers also made and shipped 1,300 polar fleece blankets and 500 knitted hats for our troops.
