Project Overview
This project consisted of site work for a new 55,727 SF warehouse and office space on a vacant 20 acres in Dover, DE. Project scope included:
- Earthwork – 50,000 CY total earthwork, including cuts/fills and topsoil
- Storm drainage – 3,000 LF
- Water line – 2,000 LF
- Sanitary – 500 LF
- Curb – 5,000 FT
- Sidewalk – 25 SF
- Paving – 4,500 tons of asphalt
Key Challenges
This project included a road that ran through the middle of the site that had to be removed along with utility lines before construction could begin. Corrado also completed all utilities and curb work before the vertical building construction began. We worked throughout the project to carefully separate and recycle appropriately all demolition products, including asphalt, concrete pipe and water lines.
