Responsibilities
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently to support various construction activities
  • Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, concrete work, or finishing touches
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity on-site
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met on time and within safety guidelines
  • Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues or repairs needed
  • Support safety protocols by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to all safety procedures
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a construction laborer or similar role within the construction industry
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, or instructions is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
  • Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to construction sites
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills
  • Valid driver’s license is a plus for transporting tools or materials between sites
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project needs
